I got the cookbook your family had made at Penns Colony. It was magnificent and I read it quite often thinking of what to cook for my husband and 15 year old daughter, Cassie. I am so sorry for your loss. I know no words can take away the pain you feel but know Kari is still touching strangers in a beautiful way. Thank you Kari!

God Bless

John & Denise & Jesse:

I can't believe it has been another year. There really aren't to many days that go by that I don't think of you and pray for comfort and strength. Something that some days probably seems miles away. I can't even imagine how your heart hurts and the loss you feel. She was a beautiful woman and though I never met her personally, I feel like I know her. She is so much a part of you, and Annie & Carl, David, Matt. She is a blessing from above and my heart hurts for your families. She touched so many with her smile. She must be absolutely radiant in heaven. I know that it isn't a comfort to know you will see her soon...I know you want her now. But I hope it helps to know that there are so many people who love you and pray for you. And I know that Kari is in the arms of Jesus smiling down on you all. I love you guys!!

Heart This is the first time ive written in the guest book. I feel kind of bad for that. But sometimes its just to hard to write down what you feel. But I am so far away from Denise and John and Jesse that today I feel like writing since I cant talk. Kreebs was my best friend and my better half. She had everything that I didnt, she had confidence and crazy high energy. I fed off of that. I had just come to seneca and didn't know anyone and we became instant friends. I learned from her that being confident was not about putting other people down but bringing others up and letting them know that they have the right to be happy too. We learned from each other how to be good people, its hard to learn that when your in high school and you have all kinds of different influences telling you what is cool and trendy. But that didn't matter to us in the long run. We knew we had each other and we didn't have to follow what was cool to be well liked. We had adventures just walking around with 5 dollars in our pocket and nothing to do. We would use our imagination like you do when your a kid. We helped each other whenever we knew how, and we were able to keep each other happy no matter how dim the stairwell was looking, we just kept moving up hoping to get to the roof to see the view. We definitely made it past that first stairwell, after graduation we both saw what was to come. I wish I could have seen more with her. Now I travel around the world hoping that one day I will be able to share my adventures with her, and I hope that she will say she remembers that one because she was with me watching over me and it made her delighted that I was still having adventures.

John, I can't believe it has been 3 years already. I still remember the last time I saw Kari, (at church Wed. night)coming out of youth group with that beautiful smile and so happy, it seems like just yesterday. I pray that God will continue to comfort, heal and strengthen you, Denise & Jesse as you move forward. She will forever be in our hearts. Heart Love You, Annie
